Anchored in Réunion for over 60 years, the Coopérative de vanille brings together more than a hundred producers. Passionate men and women who grow vanilla on the island’s most beautiful volcanic soils.
Chairman of the Cooperative, but above all a farmer, Willy BOYER belongs to a generation of growers who are keen to preserve and enhance the planting techniques long maintained by their elders.
The Cooperative has always supervised, structured and revitalized the island’s vanilla industry, guaranteeing natural, heritage-based production. Over the years, the company has managed to hold its own thanks to the determination of its managers, who work hard every day to preserve its values.
Manufacturing method
While the Cooperative is now renowned for its quality vanilla beans, the processing techniques acquired by the operators on site will make all the difference.
Step by step, the vanilla takes on its most beautiful color, while slow maturation in trunks gives it its most subtle aromas. Perpetuating its know-how over the years, the company continues to enhance the craftsmanship of its members and employees, while responding to the growing demand from its customers for exceptional vanilla.
