100% La Réunion

To improve the identification of Réunionese products, the Département de La Réunion has created the “100% La Réunion” brand, in partnership with all the professionals concerned. The purpose of this designation is to clearly identify locally-produced products, and to guarantee their link with the Reunion terroir and all the specific features it confers on the products.

WELCOME TO THE FARM

Bienvenue à la ferme (Welcome to the Farm) is France’s leading network for direct sales and farm hospitality. Brand supported by the Chambers of Agriculture network.
Bienvenue à la ferme was created in 1988 by and for farmers. The network supports its 10,000 members in their day-to-day activities, helping them to diversify their activities and income through short-distance sales and on-farm hospitality.

Organic farming

Organic farming is based on sustainable agricultural management that preserves the quality of soil, air, water and natural ecosystems. It uses cultivation and breeding practices that respect natural balances and have a limited impact on the environment. In particular, it excludes the use of GMOs, strictly restricts the use of synthetic chemicals and limits the use of inputs.

Protected geographical indication: PGI

The Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) identifies an agricultural product, raw or processed, whose quality, reputation or other characteristics are linked to its geographical origin.

NOU LA FÉ

Nou la fé defines itself as a marker of local product manufacturing based on the essential values of know-how, proximity and creativity (or innovation). Nou la fé helps promote local production, which generates skilled local jobs and contributes to Réunion’s economic growth.
