These local experts, busy with their daily tasks, struggle to promote their intensely flavored products. Initial successes, resulting from sales on collective “Région Réunion” pavilions at trade shows such as the Salon de l’Agriculture and SIAL in Paris, have been promising and have enabled the majority of members to industrialize.
The idea of a common brand “EMOTION INTENSE, A Taste Of Reunion Island” emerged naturally. This will enable each team member to concentrate on his or her own expertise, while sales outlets in Europe will ensure year-round sales. These relays will establish partnerships with distributors and retailers, encouraging proximity and the promotion of each member’s brands and products.
